Your Ultimate Finish Competition

The Competition

For car enthusiasts a restoration is more than just a hobby, it is very much an art form that can take months, if not years to achieve the ultimate finish. Axalta would like to celebrate your incredible work of art by showing it off on the front cover of the 20th Issue of The Ultimate Finish with an accompanying story about the restoration.

All you have to do is send us before and after shots of your car’s restoration by Sunday, 14 May 2017. Entry into this competition is free.

All entries will be independently judged.

1st Prize: 20 Gold Class Movie Tickets (or equivalent) to share with friends, family and colleagues valued at $AUD800.00 plus being on the cover of the 20th issue of The Ultimate Finish, including a double page spread on the restoration.

Runner Up Prizes –Single Cast Edition 20 Year Old Scotch Whiskey 700ml valued at $250.00 AUD each for the two runners up.

The winners will be announced on Monday, 3 July 2017.

Examples of some great restorations that have been on the front cover of our The Ultimate Finish magazine.

The ‘Your Ultimate Finish Competition’ was a great success and thank you to everyone who participated!

We would like to congratulate the winner of the competition Don Santarone from South Australia, who showcased his 1961 Cadillac Coupe Deville.   Don has won 20 Gold Class Tickets to share with friends, family and colleagues. Plus, the 1961 Cadillac will be on the front cover with an accompanying feature story, in the next issue of The Ultimate Finish, to be released in October.

We would also like to congratulate the runner up winners – 2nd Prize goes to John Naismith from Western Australia for his 1924 Indian Chief Custom Motorbike and 3rd Prize goes to Matt and Leanne Stephenson from NSW for their 1965 Mack Truck restoration.  Both runner up winners will receive a 20-Year-Old Bottle of Scotch.
